AI ANALYSIS LIMITATIONS AND CONTENT SOURCES
- AI analysis is probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated.
- Do not rely on AI output for safety decisions, medical guidance, or handling potentially dangerous species.
- Some offline reference images or datasets may have been generated or enhanced using AI. They are intended to resemble real spider appearances but may not be fully accurate.
DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
- Scan history and images saved in Collections are stored locally on your device in the app's Documents directory.
- App preferences (such as theme) are stored locally on your device.
- We do not upload or store your photos or scan history on our servers.
- We do not process your photos on remote servers.
- You can delete local data by removing scans in the app or deleting the app.
DATA SHARING
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your photos or scan history.
We may share information only in the following cases:
- Legal requirements, such as court orders or lawful requests.
- Business transfers, if the app is acquired or merged; data will be transferred with appropriate safeguards.
IN-APP PURCHASES
- Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple via StoreKit.
- We do not receive your full payment information. Apple provides us only with transaction data needed to validate and manage entitlements.
SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHILDREN
